coming back from the hunt, feeling exhausted, dean had hardly enough energy to stay awake, let alone hang out at a bar, as he normally did.  the job  would have been a lot easier, if sam were still with them, but he left, and dean refrained from bringing up the subject again.  he threw the duffel back on the bed.      ‘  man, i could sleep for a week.   ’     he sighed and, despite his complaints, he made his sister an offer,    ‘  --   you wanna use the bathroom first?  ’

he is somewhat REGRETTING his decision to help the humans right about now. he can bear damage to this mortal vessel. but this particular being had not exactly been of this world, it’s grasp reached beyond the mortal eye and thus so the injury inflicted upon roan is not of human limb, but his celestial wings. the pain is searing and nearly unbearable. a reminder of his SHAME. to the eyes of his companion, he might appear essentially untouched, a few scratches here and there. but he knows he doesn’t have the strength to keep his true form shrouded from her view. it is the best he can do to just sit up on his knees, slightly hunched over as HEAVY breaths fall from his lips. // @herburden bc i needed this bye
