After being shaken, Roseri blinked heavily lidded eyes eyes at her friend. Questions helped. She nodded slightly. “The brig. I was detained. If I’d been allowed, I would have told you long before now.”
Roseri did her best to straighten, but only to get her arms around Jaeyde. Was this a thing they did? Eh, it was now. “I regret that you’re unhappy, but I appreciate that you worried.”
Broken Wings of a Magpie
It was the first moving shadows of dawn, that Mishi finally found the mouth of the mountain pass that lead back to the Steppes. How long she had been running had faded into a never-ending nightmare that dared to end all hopes. Though as cut and bleeding hands crawled and clawed their way through the rocky path, the sound of rippling streams brought the renewal of hope once more. Buried within the crevaus of moss and stone, blue silk had remained protectively wrapped around a single blue linkpearl. With trembling breaths and unsure footing her first words echoed out in hope that a promise was kept and a single soul would be waiting. “Keiho.. help me..” As the resistance movement had followed behind Lore Hein and victory was upon the horizion, the second promise of many was fullied. The Azim Steppes had once again been opened to travel and the foothold of the Empire had been pushed back into the shadows. At lest for the time being. The need for words of inspiration and unity would still be needed, but in the moment, preperations could be made. Moments of personal victories could be claimed. It was in this moment that Keiho, her chosen Warlord, pointed his hand to the mountains and bid her to to return to the place she had once called home. To find any trace of her clan if there was any to be found and reclaim what was taken from her. Moons passed and silence found any that called out for her as she had shed any trace of the resistance or potental links back to them. Perhaps in her heart she knew what would await her within the winding choas of the mountain forest. A journey that was meant to renew her hope or spirit of vengance took on a deadly and unforeseen turn whe she met an enemy where once stood a friend. Beaten, battered, bruised she was caged once again. Her only respite was a hiden red gem that she refused to part with. It’s glow became a beacon and fire within that whispered to her in the momentary glimpses of peace. She must return. Some way, some how, she must return.
Time passed and her oppertunity came with the closing of night and the shattering sound of explosion and fire. Bone and flesh torn, ripped and broken as blood turned the forest floor slick with crimson. She had pray and begged the kami to free her, either from the cage she found herself in or the cage of life itself. This, however, was not the work of the Kami, nor man if she were to believe what she saw. A horror she would not suffer upon another for free of invoking it. Upon her freedom and the touch of the moss covered stones of the Steppes, she was unsure of its truth. Was she truly free of the mountains and that which chased her without relant? Was it the truth or simply an illusion? Her answer came with the crunch of weight to the grass before her and the crimson eyes that took her in. In silence he took her into his keep , weightless in his protective embrace until the cherry blossoms once again fluttered from the jeweled sky. In the overwhelming blanket of her safe haven within his ever watchful pressence, she finally slept.

underneath a blue moon }} closed
A sudden hush came upon her. One of absolute silence and a highly unusual surfacing of nerves. Dark eyes of a burning auburn gazed upon the sight before her. A place she liked to call 'A home away from home.' Well, she really didn't have much of a home left, now - did she? Of what was left, she was able to carry with her. The ring kept upon her fourth finger weighed her down metaphorically, a stone of a billion tons keeping her in place as she stared at the castle of gray and white, stones fixturing into place to reveal a structure of defense and safety. Without a second further, steady steps walked up the pebble-grazed path towards the welcoming doors of Hogwarts.
People within the halls took no notice, it was alright. Chatter of an ordinary day filled her eyes, insensitive remarks to others here and there. Random spurts of lovely compliments said to the other and to the she or he. And Woori, she waltzed passed each individual, a daring smirk upon her face as she moved, each step taken in confidence and ease. It didn't matter that she was surrounded in a sea of indifference. It didn't matter that no one could tell of who was around them, one that many had worried was lost and gone. She had returned, and at this point- whom were to remember were all that would matter. Those who didn't, they were the past, just like that one kid who decided leaving was the only option for him to take.
That sure left a heavy burden in her chest. But whatever.
The girl wasn't in any rush to allow her presence to be known quite yet. It hadn't been very long since her sudden departure and she wanted to make sure that her return wouldn't shift anything, now that she had what she so unwillingly had to harbor, she couldn't just dilly-dally with much things like she had a month ago. A torn heart, a weary family heirloom and a lost girl all in the mix only had her resurfacing as someone she couldn't believe she had to face. The girl that she had remembered changing into was gone once more. The phases of whom she had become had stifled through so much that at this point - she wasn't very sure who she was. All she knew and therefore was able to care about was, she was back. For good.

They should have realized long ago that you are needed at the palace. Yes... Though it was not at all a pleasant situation. It took over a year to bring myself back to my normal self. I was very weak for a long time, Jafar. It was rather irritating... ~echoes his sigh~
Hm.. ::Gives her a concerned look:: Are you looking for revenge at this time? If I can assist you in any way, my dear, my services are all yours.
~chuckles lightly~ What an idiotic old man. My plans? I will focus on becoming stronger. After the fight with the prince ~stiffens~ my powers became quite weak. Thankfully, I was able to heal myself and survive the wound.
He is... If it wasn't for me that city would be nothing but sand. Just look at all the situations that arose during my absence!
It's a fortunate thing that you were able to survive such a wound and that you were able to do it on your own. I had to make a deal with Hades to get my body back the first time around. ::Brings a finger to rub his temple as he lets out an irritated sigh::
Do you now? How very fortunate for you. Tell me, how did you acquire your position back in the palace? After all those incidents... Ah yes. Young love. How foolish and impractical they must be now.
Oh, with much hard work and patience on my part. No begging, mind you, but it helps that the Sultan is as pathetic and gullible as he always was. ::Lets out a sharp laugh:: Such a thing has always been so weak.. I'm certain it'll prove to be their downfall come some time. My dear, what might your plans be now?
