She has nightmares often. Sometimes debilitating. She can also have some great dreams and next thing you know nightmare. Her recurring nightmare is her laying sprawled out on the ground petrified and unable to move while she's on fire and unable to scream eyes open. She never burns, her skin never burns, her clothes don't burn off either. All the while that's going on other people are running and screaming everywhere and they too are on fire and dropping dead but not her. Everything is falling apart. She never dies. So she's forced to hear the screams of her people dying while looking on as her vision is coated in Orange flames in blue or black skies. A nightmare directly linked to her powers and fears.

During her childhood she was kidnapped and almost raped. So in defense she pulled a Carrie and lit the place on fire killing her kidnappers and walked out the building she was in. No one not even the authorities can figure out what happened that day.

When she's super pissed off she'll often lose herself and ignite her whole body on fire Liz Sherman style. Or when she's completely engulfed in fear, feeling very trapped her powers will activate (body igniting) and she'll be pulled from consciousness and not knowing what she did afterwards. Poor Sonic saw this once and felt genuine fear but felt very bad seeing her like that.

She often fears waking up with her room on fire after a nightmare. But it doesn't happen so she cries out of relief.

       While Freya on a normal basis isn’t the most skillful witch, she does have a switch. She is pretty tame, and it takes a lot to anger her. However, like everyone, even she has a limit. She hasn’t hit yet, something unbeknownst to her and only to her mother, her powers grow wildly out of control. 

    When her mother gave birth to her, Freya was a stillborn. Being the first, it was not taken well. To which her mother’s decided to dabble in dark magic which in turn came with sacrifices. They were able to form a resurrection spell, but the dark magic used to bring Freya back from the land of the dead never left her. It began to manifest within her, darkening her heart and risking to swallow her whole. Her mother’s tried but could not find a way to truly remove the magic. 

     Because of this reason, they instead decided to keep the magic at bay, creating a spell binded to the two of them to keep Freya’s magic from ever going and going out of control. It is a reason why Freya can never complete a spell, fails to do magic correctly or without weird side effects. Because of this, she often feels like she isn’t a real witch and often feels discouraged when her spells go wrong.
