This pretty gown with slashed sleeves and bodice was first worn by Dorothy Tutin as Anne Boleyn in the 1970’s television miniseries 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒊𝒙 𝑾𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒆𝒏𝒓𝒚 𝑽𝑰𝑰𝑰.   Two years later, an extra wore the dress in a blink-and-you ’ll-miss-it-moment in the 1972 historical film adaptation 𝑯𝒆𝒏𝒓𝒚 𝑽𝑰𝑰𝑰 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝑺𝒊𝒙 𝑾𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔.   Who managed to spot this reuse? This red and gold damask gown first appeared in 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆 in 1953. It was worn by Rosalie Crutchley as Queen Katharine.   In 1972, it was used again in 𝑯𝒆𝒏𝒓𝒚 𝑽𝑰𝑰𝑰 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝑺𝒊𝒙 𝑾𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 on an extra in several scenes. Blink and you'll miss it!   Learn more at Bit.ly/TudEliz245
