Spring House is available for download at mod.io: clickie!
Well! Uh. When the House Flipper 2 buyers 2.0 update hit, Henry Spring magically became un-attained in the buyer list, while a bunch of the new DLC buyers and one Scooby Doo villain became magically attained. Whoopsie, a little error in y'all's coding, devs. Meanwhile, I tried the Cobblestone House trick again but this time Henry didn't show up in the list of buyers at all, which makes sense based off his wants list... I thought it was weird he would buy the Cobblestone House in the first place, nevermind the failed-to-get-Melody technicolor mansion.
Whatevs, today I re-bagged Henry Spring by starting from flat nothing via the "Building permit" lot. I'm really terrible at middle-America generic suburban architecture, but for once... I think I pulled it off. The front looks a bit awkward, but the back turned out really nice and heck it... I'm happy with the end result. Here's a couple WIP shots of the building stage before we start a proper tour of the finished digs:
Okidokie! Let's have a look around the yard first, starting with the garden shed Henry's buyer info suggests.
Oh look, here we are at the front door. Convenient! Let's step inside and check out the living room, which was an interesting challenge to furnish after deciding "yes, I do want support poles in here."
The left-most door in the last pic is the kitchen, where we're going next. The middle door is the bathroom, and the right-hand door is the bedroom. But yes, le kitchen, it be a kitchen-ing. Also included is a small laundry room and pantry through the door in the left corner as viewed in the first pic. The living room door is the one on the right, and the back door is by the kitchen table.
Now on to the bathroom, and then the bedroom with an area set up for Polly to draw and sew. I wish there was more drawing stuff in the game; I know the calligraphy stuff exists but didn't feel like it fit properly.
Welp, we finally have a house where Henry is top bidder, and that makes sense for his must-haves. I have a feeling now that if the buyer revamp had been done sooner, my second failed attempt in the modern suburban location probably would have succeeded... though the jury remains indefinitely out on if the forest garden would have been too big and expensive for him. Ironically, this new place didn't even turn a profit, but then I spent three times the base lot price on the renovation and I didn't properly read through his comments in the buyer's page before hitting "yes plz sell NOW thx."

In order to reach the second floor of the "Dirty Laundromat" revamp as shown in part 1 (structure) and part 2 (first floor tour), we must pass through the stairwell hall. This got skipped earlier but now we can peek at the connective nerve center of the house. In the first pic, we have the kitchen to the right and the dining room to the left, and the second pic shows the bathroom door on the left of the laundry room door at the far end, and a sliding glass door to the pool on the right.
Upstairs, the door on the right goes to the music room, and all the way to the back and left is the small staircase and door to the top-floor hallway. I really like how this area turned out, as the experimental wallpaper turned out nicely. Now let's step into the music room, which holds my favorite structural decoration I've put together thus far in my House Flipping experience.
The clock of clocks, it is a-clocky! I also really like how the floor and ceiling turned out. The final pic is how it all looks at night, and the round colored ceiling lights are actually the only thing coloring the shades of the larger lamps (which are done in the black-and-white fuzzy cloud texture). Next up is the office... an, umm, abomination to autistic senses and yet somehow I like how it turned out.
Hoo baby, that is a lot of... a lot. Out the door is the balcony seating area we saw in part 1, and then we duck into the top-floor hallway via its alternate entry door.
The lighting here is artificially yellowed via light-bulb color, just in case it wasn't already yellow enough. Wall art near the bathroom door hints at how to get to the roof and its sunbathing station (also shown in part 1). The door on the opposite side of the hall is the bedroom. Let's check out dat baffoom first, shall we?
Day and night/special lighting in that last shot. This was an interesting one to put together, since I wanted to make sure there was a shower this round after seeing someone put it in a successful Melody-yoinking build. Didn't help... oh well. Speaking of things she turned down, the bedroom with walk-in closet is our final stop. There's a collection of rainbow nail polish on one of the dressers... maybe there's something we don't know about Henry Spring? Sure dude, it's for the wife. Sure.

Here we are walking in the front door of the "Dirty laundromat" revamp that Melody Banerjee rejected, with the outside shown off in part 1. Let there be colors! And hiding of the more obnoxious Extravaganza-brand wallpapers in places like the living room coat closet, as shown above and accessed through the door by the TV. Next up, her dream kitchen that ain't ever gonna belong to her.
The final two shots are the optional colored lighting effects. Speaking of, we can see the bar peeking at us from the side. Let's have a better look at it, in both day and night modes.
Those bookshelves are so goofy, and I'm honestly not sure if they count as kids furniture and maybe Melody doesn't like that? Heck if I know.... though in cheaper builds, Abby Poe definitely likes them.
For the moment, we're gonna skip the stairwell hallway which will intro part 3 due to screenshots-per-post limit. Thus, it's time to check out the first floor bathroom and the laundry room.
Yep, more hiding of blergh-tastic wallpaper in out-of-the-way spaces. I mean... it kind of works? But I still hate those prints. Next up, the pool or hot tub or whatever this is, I had an extra room and decided to make it contain water. And duckies doing suspicious things.
Now for one of my favorite rooms in the house, and one that stretched my design aesthetics to their limits... a lot of this build was basically "I kinda hate this... time to triple-down." And for the most part, somehow it works.
That... is definitely a lot, lol. It's like the Red Queen from Alice In Wonderland threw up all over the place. Brilliant. On to the second floor, which unveils its majesty in part 3.

Alllllllllllrightythen! It's the "we built this for Melody Banerjee and she turned up her snobby lil' nose" mega-build using the "Dirty laundromat" property in House Flipper 2. It's a Scooby Doo DLC house, so it has the obnoxious black gradient around the edges of screenshots. And umm... hmm. I have a moderate-grade migraine today so let's just move on with the pics. Since this is a weird one to smish into what will become three posts, this round covers all the outside stuff (structure WIP post is over here). So we're gonna jump up onto the second floor balcony and peep its seating area:
There are a lot of special lighting effects in use around this house, including outside, so let's check out s'more outdoor nighttime vibe.
Yep. The neon be with us. And finally, we'll venture up to the roof which is accessed via the top floor hallway in part 3. Up here we have a breezy sunbathing spot and a lovely view of the night sky.
Now it's time to journey into part 2 where we tour the first floor and challenge our design sensibilities before vaulting into part 3 for a whole lot more of that on the second floor.
Meanwhile... Melody didn't want it. I've theorized it's too expensive since she wants a "cheap" house in this neighborhood.. Honestly, I just don't know anymore, especially as I have since gone on to do another theory-test house in the 275k range and am currently working on an as-cheap-as-it-gets test using yet another copy of the Lavender House... no dice. Yet. But whatevs. Guess who bought this thing? Guess who, according to his own buyer info, should never be putting an offer on a house like this?

Finally. Thanks to lizba955's post on Steam forums, my third attempt to get Henry Spring was quick and relatively easy. I'll put the info below as well, plus my additional notes.
lizba955's directives:
You buy the Cobblestone House which already have lots of Cozy Rosie furniture in good condition, they just need a good cleaning and a big garden/yard. The only things i did is this : -Remove trash and clean up everything -Replace the old stove and stovetop -Sell everything in the kids room (no need to repaint) -Remove some of the wilted/dried up plants (don't need to remove them all). Some i replaced with flowers, some i left the empty pot.
My additional notes:
Sold the tires in the outdoor workshop area
Sold the train set in the upstairs sitting room and the rubber duck in the nearby bathroom
Used tulips and crocuses as replacement plants
Didn't vacuum leaves (thanks Blues Man!) but did vacuum chips in the kids room
Didn't sell any kid stuff in the yard
Didn't sell any weeds in the yard
Edit: After the Buyers 2.0 update, this no longer seems to work. I'm guessing the property is too big and expensive, which is one reason I was surprised this worked before. I tried this again because for some reason Henry Spring shows as unattained after the Buyers update, while a bunch of buyers I've never gotten show as attained. Henry Spring had bought at least two houses from me including a very overpriced failed-to-get Melody build, so maybe the devs retroactively checked to see if houses actually met buyer needs properly... though having new buyers immediately unlocked tells me it's probably a coding oversight. Regardless, this time using this guide/property, Henry doesn't even show up in the extended buyers list at all.
Beige Botany is available for download at mod.io: clicky!
This is my second failed attempt to get Henry Spring to show up as a buyer in House Flipper 2... welp, the "Peaceys' Family Home" goes to a rando who really, really likes beige. Since this is a gardeny build, let's start the tour with the outdoors, where there are plants in abundance.
I located the career mode house file and copied it to sandbox before doing things like deleting the sandbox and toys in case that was interfering with the buyer list, but it didn't help. Meh. Oh well, inside we go to beige-ass-beige!
Muchos beigechachos. Now for the greenhouse and a better look at the internal structure, which is the end result of keeping the foundations and outer walls of the original building and then adding from there:
Up on the second floor landing, we have the bathroom on the left and the bedroom on the right, the latter of which has a balcony with cozy seating and of course, more plants.
I really like how the bathroom turned out... and I'm realizing now I completely forgot curtains on the second floor. Whoops. Now let's boop on up to the final landing and check out the roof, where there are yet more plants and a nice little sitting area. There's LED lighting as well for more night-time options. Finally, we'll have a look through the biggest skylight down into the greenhouse below... hello, feetsies!
Well, Henry... I give up. Short of using someone's "do this, then this, then this, etc" guide to get you, I've tried twice now and you just ain't biting. Your loss, jerk. Okay, the poorly-implemented buyer system is most likely to blame but whatevs. I do at least like both this build and the first attempt in the forest, so eh... how much generic currency did we make this time?
Forest Farm is available for download at mod.io: clickie!
Redo the "Forest cabin" again in House Flipper 2? Yep, and attempt to get a different buyer this time for a change of pace... but Henry Spring wouldn't show. I wasn't willing to wreck the lot via testing to see if I could force him to show (though I did delete the lawnmower since it's a bright color) so whatever, you snooze you lose, dude. Sadface though... I really wanted him to have this. Maybe the lot was too big. Or maybe, based off players posting results of who buys what on forums, the whole buyers concept is a hackjobby mess. Whatevs, let's have a look around our planty paradise, shall we?
This is a shell challenge, if we don't count adding stairs to the side of the porch and the new back door. The color scheme is my attempt at neutral tones, so I don't know if they were still too bright for Henry or if it didn't end up mattering because of the lot size ("small property" is such a vague hint, since lot size and house size are two different concepts and I have no idea if the game tracks either one). On to the bedroom...
...which has a little plant nook and its own little light. And now, the bathroom, back hall, and stairs down into the underground greenhouse:
The plants, they are a-thickening. It's about to get real dense, because now we step into the masterpiece for this build, the greenhouse. It has separate lighting controls for all the colors, which I set up after some quick research into whether or not plants like specific colors of light.
I kind of like the purple combo, though it washes things out a bit with so many lights on at once. It should also be noted that I tend to play this game with mild-to-moderate levels of migraine symptoms, so I design at about 1/3 of "normal" monitor settings... haven't actually seen this one on proper brightness? Hmm. Aaand now that I've turned up my settings... not bad, honestly. Yay for not creating total eyebleed by accident. XD
Outside we have two main garden areas, the rose garden in front of the house and the farm in the back. There's a workshop area and uh, I did my best trying to fake stuff like veggies with plants that looked close enough. The "dirt" is actually raw stone textured dark brown and worked out nicer than expected.
And thar she blows, err, grows? Maybe Henry comes over to advise the new owner on how to take care of all this. Yeah... we'll go with that.
