lavender: what is something that you’ve always wanted to be/have/get but can never have?
i’ve always wanted the ability to say what i want without fear of being judged! i have a tendency to think wayyyy to much before i speak!! i’ve also noticed that when i’m talking in groups of people (men specifically) i tend to respond to questions with another question; like for instance, someone asked me when sense and sensibility was published i responded “i think it was published in 1811, right?” even though i knew for sure it was published in 1811... i don’t know if it stems from being taught in my childhood if i was a know-it-all no one would be my friend, society’s idea of a woman’s intelligence, my family pushing “children are to be seen not heard” on me my whole life, or just my anxiety but i hate it when i do that and i need to stop!!
