I think Helz has a chip on her shoulder about piloting a ‘manual’ mech. She’s heard one too many fresh out of training pilots talking about how exquisite it feels to grind through a ton of metal with sensor input feeding directly into your brain. And the way she sees it if you can’t swing a titanium broadsword through a mech shoulder to hip and feel the vibration of each wire split, each piston shattered, and each plate buckled reverberating all the way from the controls to your pussy then well… you’re just not a real pilot.
