Helvetica Neue Hass Grotesk is undoubtedly the most popular sans-serif typefaces of the 20th century. It was developed in 1957 by Swiss typeface designer Max Miedinger, with help from Eduard Hoffmann. Helvetica was influenced by the 19th century typeface Akzidenz-Grotesk as well as other German and Swiss designs.
