Lavinia puts the papers she’d been sorting, because again William and Henry’s paperwork left much to be desired, back down on the desk. She thinks of his once little fingers and whispered promises sat by his crib. She spent a lot of nights in that chair, she did for all her kids but Mike especially, she just didn’t….want to leave him feeling alone in the world especially when he had just entered it. Her little miracle, first of three.

“I see so much of my youth in him, the good and the bad. I know he gets the temper from me, that's for damn sure.” She sighs

He may favor William just a bit more in appearance but there is no denying that is Lavinia Afton’s son.

“I just wish…I wish he’d be kinder to himself. Kinder to his little siblin’s as well but I can only hope he’ll stop carrying so much bottled up inside him…I speak from experience that it won't end well when it blows.”

Maybe they should go to the park, just the two of them. It’s been a while since they’ve had a just them outing. Course he’s a teen now and she knows she’s not the hippest person to hang out with for a teenager.

“He can be a right.” she looks around for a moment, “ arsehole.” Elizabeth huffs

The redhead puffs her left cheek out a little, hands on her tiny hips, but eventually the cheek returns from orbit as she grumbles.

“He can be nice but he can also be so stupid! Like he’ll help me with my homework but then he gets one of my barbies stuck up a tree…or or if momma’s comin home late then he’ll get us dinner, but then he hides under Evan’s bed to scare him!” She huffs

If teenagers are all as stupid as Mike and his friends then she never wants to grow up. There’s another little grumble after some more cheek chewing.

“He’s an okay big brother when he wants to be….I guess. Don’t tell him I said that!”

“My…..best friend!” The tiny bear’s radio happily chirps

The tiny animatronic is practically vibrating with happiness as his ears and tail wiggle. It takes him a minute to calm down cause he’s got his servos just all excited. Now that Helpy’s calm he takes his tiny hat into his tiny hands.

“He….treats me….like I…am…real….it can….be ….confusing…but…I do not…mind.:”

They care about each other, that’s what they do. He watches Mike’s back and Mike looks out for the little guy. Their best friends….their…family.

“I do….wish…..he’d….sleep more.”

He can’t help but worry , but it’s okay. Once Mike finally decides to get some shut eye-.

Helpy will keep watch.

Helpy fiddles with his little top hat in his tiny plush animatronic hands, a nervous habit, watching Mike from where he’s sat on his desk. He had noticed his friend the human acting awfully sluggish so that naturally led to asking ‘ You…okay?’

The top hat is returned to his head at Mike’s answer and there's a confidence in that tiny chest flipping through radio stations to speal.

There’s a silent rumbling from the little plush animatronic as he looks at the cut on the mechanic’s hand. First aid kit, where is the darn first aid kit-. If he had cheeks to chew on he’d be doing it right now . Helpy makes a motion to say one moment, quickly climbing down the desk he had been perched on and scurrying out into the hall.
