feeling ✨ #inspired ✨ and ✨ emotional ✨ so perhaps i’ll write another steve fic tmrw… BUT i need some help cuz i’m very indecisive.
1. a fic based off talking in your sleep by the romantics (essentially someone confesses in their sleep when they’re all asleep in someone’s living room after a movie night)
2. a fic based off balcony by dayglow (a fight or sumn happens and steve tries to get y/n back or tries to confess and she’s on a balcony and basically he embraces himself but it’s ok cuz it gets her to come down and hear him out. it’ll be better than that that’s just a very short version)
3. savior complex by phoebe bridgers (“all the bad dreams that you hide. show me yours i’ll show you mine.” you get the gist)
4. one man wrecking machine by guster (essentially y/n comforting steve as he finally opens up about all of his issues with home and friends and trying to be someone he’s not etc. etc. because that entire song is written for him i swear)
5. sidelines by phoebe bridgers (“in a room full of people, watching from the sidelines had nothing to prove til you came into my life. gave me something to lose.” once again, you get the gist)
6. dreams tonite by alvvays but it’s one of them having a breakdown about like what if they never met? they wish they never would’ve had to deal with the upside down, but at the same time, would they have even exchanged glances? “is it so naive to wonder, if i saw you on the street would i have you in my dreams tonight?”
7. steve getting vecna’d instead of max or nancy or y/n ?????
