Today is Good Friday, meaning that today is the day that Jesus went through whipping, beating, being spat at, lifting the cross up the hill, had a crown of thorns put upon his head, was mocked, had his hands and his feet nailed to the cross to be crucified. Why did he do it? He prayed in the garden for hours before the soldiers caught him, his disciples betrayed him, people mocked him. Why would he suffer through all that torture? Because he loves us; you and me. He loves the straights, Republicans, Democrats, children, adults, the LGBT, the lost, the homeless, the Christians, the Atheists, the rich, the poor, the blacks, whites, Asians, Chinese, Japanese, Germans, Americans, Mexicans, Europeans, Muslims, Indians, Russians, Ukrainians, animals, humans, the prostitutes, the perverts, the furries, the sick, the healthy, the teen moms, He loves us all. He died for us so that our sins could always be forgiven. This is MY Jesus, not the American, Republican Jesus, not the "Only God can Judge Me" Jesus, not even the the white Jesus.
