#hellsing rant #queued post #it's been a while since I've seen Hellsing and I've just only started watching it again after 7 years #but something that always bothered me was how Seras wasn't te main character in ultimate like she was in the original

Seras is the main character of Hellsing

This is something I will go by until anyone proves me wrong.

At first, I thought that Alucard was the main character, buuuuut that's not really true. He's one of the main characters, but Hellsing isn't really about Alucard. It's about Seras.

Think about it this way. How does the manga start? It starts with Seras and it ends with Seras. Integra and Alucard are in there as well, but not in the same way as Seras. Seras is the character that evolves the most during the manga.

Alucard may be my favourite, and because of that I'd love to see him as the main character, but he isn't. I love every character in Hellsing: Literally EVERYONE! But when people call Seras "oh, just some other vampire", "a comic relief", "she's just there because she's got boobs", "her greatest trait is her boobs" and things like that, that make her seem like a useless side-character, they seriously piss me off
