Carter rounded the corner sharply, and held his gun at the ready scanning for the man who had been shooting at him. He ignored the blood pouring down from the wound in his shoulder. The bastard he was hunting had stabbed him, then ran like the chicken shit coward he was. He wiggled his fingers on the stock of the gun scanning the next corner before rounding it, his gun aimed right at the face o the young woman who was on the other side, his trigger finger twitched but didn’t pull as he glared at her. “What the fuck are you doing out here?” He growled.
