Since I originally started this blog a lot has happened in my life. The evening of my son turning 8 months old, my son's father and I broke up. It was inevitable that it would happen. However, it still left me lost and unsure of where my future as a single mother would lead. I was lost and down on myself. I was with my son's father for 5 years. All I could think was how could this happen? How could we let this happen? We had a baby together and he wasn't even a year old yet. Somehow we had to learn to be around each other and to stay civil for the sake of our son. We tried one session of couple's counseling, but it was to late. We already reached our end.
