Empty Spaces • What you are able to shoot at 2 AM! You're not likely to have seen these places like this, without any people. Watched "Shazam!: Fury of the Gods" last night. It was likeable and entertaining but for me at least, not anything memorable. Also, we know the entire DC Universe is getting rebooted anyway so nothing of what we saw in the movie actually matters in the broader scheme of things. The director David F Sandberg is a very good natured and hardworking person and that's the reason I watched this in the theatre, and I'm glad I did. The Moon just now! The slides tell the story in reverse chronological order — last slide is what the Samsung S22 camera saw at 30X, second slide is the picture as it came from the camera after the phone applied its AI processing, and the first one is edited, I tried to match the colours. Maybe a bit aggressive but I think it's fine! Watched "Missing" (@searchingmovie) today and it was awesome! A follow up to "Searching" this is a thriller about 18 year old June (@stormreid) trying to track down the whereabouts of her mother after she goes missing, the entire story being told through computer screens and different apps/applications. Like the earlier movie, all of the interfaces are painstakingly recreated with motion graphics and visual effects, and it's done so cinematically (using every trick in the book — animations, zooms, music, sound) while still convincingly conveying what we're seeing are video calls and messages (it was actually shot on RED KOMODO in 6K). The acting, script and direction (editors of "Searching") are all excellent.
