skye is skye.

daisy johnson is the girl, who was supposed to grow up with two loving parents. she was supposed to have a father, who’s a doctor and a mother, who loved her more than anything else. daisy johnson was supposed to grow up comfortably, maybe even have some siblings, and knowing about her lineage and be excited to go through the mist.

skye is not that girl.

she’s not mary sue poots, either. the girl, the nuns wanted her to be. a nice orphan girl, who gets adopted by a young married couple and will grow up in the perfect suburban home. 

skye’s neither of these girls.

skye never graduated from highschool. she ran from the orphanage. she learned to pickpocket to get by and to hack because she wanted to know who she is. and while she was searching for her parents, she found herself.

a girl who is recklessly brave and who’s compassion knows no bounds. she’s bright and bubbly and caring and smart and daring.

she also found a family in that rag tag shield team. she found friends, that cared for her. people, she could look up to. she found something she wanted, even after telling herself that it’s better to never ever want anything. she decided to become a shield agent, no matter what. and didn’t stop until she became one.

and that’s skye. she was a girl, who was always looking for other people and in the process she found herself.

but now, the writers want her to give that person up. want her to forget the last 26 years of her life. just because her parents, who turned out to be completely messed up people, gave her that name when she was a baby?

nope, I just won’t accept it.

I’ve never heard of that but I’ll look that up. After the mess that is AoS I’m in great need of new shows.
