Molly almost looked hurt at the sudden snappiness of the comment, even though she prior was rather just as hostile.

But she had a reason to be, she thinks.

She felt hurt. She felt hurt that he seemed to try to desperately leave. She understood for the most part, of course, but.. She felt he was also trying to leave her behind, too. She wanted her family back together, not falling apart. But it seems unavoidable now.. And it breaks her heart.
