Seth And Anubis Interactions
In a cold winter's night, Seth walked the empty streets with the snow crunching under his feet. He could see his breath misting in the freezing empty air. “I hate human winters there’s barely any pickings for victims.” Anubis complained following behind his host body. “Most people prefer being at home warm and safe on nights like this, of course the streets will be empty even quiet for a change.” Seth responded in his usual monotone, the small boy pulled out a box of cigarettes, took a single one, and lit it taking a drag. “Ugh you know I’m not gonna keep regenerating your lungs so you can do that.” The demon growled annoyed with the boys smoking habit. “Yes you are, every time that crazy bitch princess fights us she destroys a good portion of my vital organs especially my lungs. You’ll keep regenerating them as long as you need my body.” Seth responded maintaining his usual tone and snark.
Anubis snarled at his attitude, the lack of victims had him agitated already and Seth’s attitude did not help. Immediately the demon grabbed Seth slamming him to the ground and wrapping his hands around the human's throat. “You little shit you think yer so fucking smart I could kill you right now.” He growled violently. Seth simply looked the demon in the eyes with a cold stare he could feel Anubis just barely denying him oxygen but he didn’t struggle. “You’re frustrated I understand you’ve had very little blood to satisfy you.” He spoke with a raspy voice from the choking. “We both know this is not the answer, without me you’d be vulnerable.” The host reminded his demon completely calm, Anubis released Seth some but kept his hands on his neck still. “Sometimes I wonder if you’re turning into more of a demon than me. Maybe I should kill you soon.” Anubis threatened.
Seth was completely still and unphased by the others empty threat, he’s heard many over the years. “You’ll never meet someone like me again. I am no more monster than what i’ve always been, circumstance has just brought out the worst in me. At this point i’ve stopped questioning it.” He admitted before moving pushing Anubis off of him. The demon rolled his eyes but grinned lingering behind the host again so close he could feel the human breathing. “Well I guess that’s better than the little brat I found that day crying for his mommy.” Anubis chuckled. Seth side eyed glanced at the demon trying to strike a nerve with him and shrugged him off. “Oh please we both know that person is dead. Now focus… I smell blood potential.” He responded noticing a potential victim, a drunk teen stumbling outside. Anubis eagerly dashed ahead of Seth who walked towards their next victim sighing. “Stupid demon.”
