THE SAMHAIN BALL!
It has been said that the magic of Samhain is that of endless possibility. An ancient Celtic festival that marks not only the end of harvest and beginning of winter, but a liminal time when the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead thins, allowing for the passage of spirits to the mortal world, Samhain is a celebration of death and rebirth, of transformation and spirituality. To honor this tradition, the Shamrocks are extending an invitation far and wide—on October 31st, your presence is requested at Hell’s Gate for a night of magic, mystery and, in the spirit of Samhain, possibility beyond what even your dizziest daydreams could conjure: The Samhain Ball. Every single floor of the building will be transformed for the event, dazzling and dark and, daresay, even deadly—but only if you go wandering where you shouldn’t. This chilling celebration features countless bars stocked with an endless flow of liquor and tantalizingly terrifying cocktails that span all levels of the building, each of which promises thrills of its own. The entire gluttony floor has been transformed into a feasthall, a buffet of selections ranging from savory to sweet that are sure to lure in even the testiest of tastebuds. The lust floor has become a den of debauchery and sin, filled with dancers donned in leather and latex ready to tempt your moral compass. (For an extra cost, you can find out for yourself exactly what it is they’re doing behind those curtains that’s making the patrons scream!) Dressed to kill? Then head to the envy floor where you’ll find a lavish dancefloor and, at the end of the night, a costume contest with awards in the form of credits and vouchers to Hell’s Gate for the best and scariest of costumes. But if it’s real blood you want to see and not corn syrup, the wrath floor offers all of the violence your blood-lust could desire. A traditional gauntlet is being held and any fighter who thinks they’ve got what it takes to enter the ring is welcome to sign up. For the last one standing? A ten thousand credit reward—enough to cover your medical bills and then some. Any decisions you make at the Samhain Ball are your own. The O’Brien family and Hell’s Gate do not accept any liability for injury, damaged or stolen belongings, or any other damages incurred during the celebration.
