These guys have been knocking around my head for quite a bit. I feel like their stay in the manga wasn’t long enough to show their capabilities as characters in full, or maybe I just want a spin-off following them run around, doing stuff and killing fools. My solution is fanart :)
I’m back! After a couple months of not peeping out of my hide-y hole I’m making a peep! Haven’t been active for various reasons: burn out, mental health, interpersonal stuff. Life stuff really. Anyway, things seem to be calming down a bit so I’m hoping to get back into the rhythm of making things. So here’s the first of those! A Chainsaw Man thing!
Yet another torturous angle. I discovered how to use three point perspective while making this! But by then I had already drawn so much… Anyway, I had a blast making this one. I got to try out a lot of things I’ve been wanting to for a while (loosey goosey light, drawing a ton of food, different wall texturing methods), and indulged in some of my favourite stuff (an absurd amount of lining, lot of different characters, boobs… and a Signalis reference because I couldn’t think of anything else to put there). It’s a very jam-packed picture, and much more ambitious for me than what I normally do. Although what an “ambitious” drawing for me is seems to be getting steeper and steeper as I make more and more. Well, that’s how things go! Because of that the timelapse ended up being 38 minutes long. I’m hoping I’ll set out to do something a little less involved next. (Like seriously, this took 46 hours all up!)
(Not much news on the comic front, still writing it. Very slowly. Like how a snail writes.) Hope everyone has a good spooky month and a happy HALLOWEEN!
