wrote something silly at a Reddit post asking how we cope with knowing the Affini are (most likely)(that's what the post said) not real but then I had a second thought about posting it but then I didn't wanted it to go to waste so here it is
I'm on my crazy cultist era, looking at the sky yearning for a green goddess that only lives behind a screen and in the words we write on paper. I give them life with my pen and keyboard, bringing a supernatural, almost omnipotent being to existence every time those words cross my mind. I get so high on weed every night trying to make up for the fact that their xenodrugs will never cross my veins, hypnotizing myself just to feel some sort of pleasure on my skin akin to what a class A could do. I play voices of the void every night, just so I can actually have a job where I do shit like this instead of stocking some fridges in a store. I'm feral not because I think humanity is cool or anything, I HATE humanity and I rejected my identity at every step, but to think there are beings so selfish as to come to our world through the unconscious thought of the dormant collective mind, and preach a message of unity, peace and salvation to those that need it the most, in a world so torn by war and greed, only to stay behind the facade of a being that couldn't possibly interact with us further beyond that concept that we have to it, that is disastrous. They shouldn't even let us know about them in the first place, but here we are, cursed by the aboherrent knowledge of a future where we could be happy, yet punished unfairly by not giving us this... That should be unacceptable by their law, and yet, they do it! If you ask me, those are not the actions of a goddess, but of a demon! Those cursed beings will only bring hell to us, and the best part is only those who are already cursed must bear the bane of their wrath, and contain them so that they wicked forms don't spread any further through words they wrote. I will die begging for the Affini to come here, to save earth and humanity from itself, but I will also die knowing that these wicked demons will not poison living thought no more, least not by my paw.
