@heldwoven / for anna / starter call.
HER BROWS WERE TIGHT, HER SHOULDERS tensed. Where her hand met the metal of the doorknob, ice spread â something that had been happening less and less. She hadn't even knocked before entering her sister's quarters, too caught up in the anxiety and panic swirling in her stomach to even think. ( were she in a better frame of mind, Elsa may have marvelled that her feet had carried her to Anna, and not to her own rooms to escape ).
As she charged in, her mind seemed to catch up to her body and she took an involuntary step backwards before steeling herself. They had promised. No more secrets.
"I didn't mean to burst in, I â I just â I need you," she stammered out, feeling her chin begin to wobble as the words left her lips. The sting of salt told her the tears were threatening to fall. These days used to be further between, but more recently she had felt swamped, like she was being held under water for longer and longer each time they happened. "Please."
