Tires screeching to a halt, Han listened for the sweeter sound of the car on his tail doing the same. For all his time spent running these streets in his earlier years, they never changed. A road block here, an idiotic stop sign there. None of them mattered much after the flag had been dropped. Undefeated, even at his old age. It wasn’t often he found himself caught up in these races, but Lando had tipped him off to some young gun looking to steal his titles. Han Solo wasn’t about to let that happen. Climbing from the old car, a smirk stretched across his face, Han patted the old girl’s roof with pride. All the bells and whistles the idiots showing up these days fixed their rides up with were nothing compared to his baby. 

            𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞  in front of her, she’d snuck up behind Ben Solo who was sitting in the campus cafe alone, trying to eat his food and do homework. The test had been marked with a 92% in red ink at the top right hand corner, signifying that she had passed with flying colors.  ❝ 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁? ❞ she asked, a big smile on her face, peering over his shoulder to get in his bubble just because 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗺, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆. ❝ That’s my Microbiology final. Choses the pumpkin: ben, of course. while steve is excited for this holiday in particular, nothing can quite beat ben’s enthusiasm for most things. 

Carves the pumpkin: it starts with ben carving the pumpkin ( and steve admiring him while he is doing so ) but sooner or later he gets tired of how long the process takes and hands the project over to steve. 

Gets scared and clings the other in a haunted house: it depends on the theme of the haunted house. all in all, they both have certain things that has one clinging to the other. 

Matching costume idea: steve gives the ideas and ben makes it happen. teamwork. most of the time they coordinate so that their costumes represent a pun of some sort. 

Makes a cozy bed-fort to cuddle in: they take turns building forts. almost like a competition to see who can build the best one. 

Steal’s the other’s candy: steve and his sweet tooth gets him into trouble with ben. if there is an opportunity for him to sneak some candy for himself, he will. 

Accidentally gets lost in a corn maze: ben definitely manages to get lost no matter how many times they go to the same maze but the guy is so tall that steve finds him rather quickly. 

Tells spooky stories to scare the other: steve reiterates stories that he hears from other people ( some of his coworkers more specifically ) but ben is normally not phased by them. 

Collects cool-looking leaves: this is a ben thing to do! he would probably do something cute with the leaves like make a sentimental memory notebook with them.

“I’m sorry,” Poe kept his voice low, all too aware of how words carried in the shop bay. 

Ben’s face was cradled in his hands, a thumb smearing dark grit as it traced his cheekbone. One more apologetic kiss was given, lingering a half second longer than the last.
