first of all, shoutout to all of you — after almost 10 hours, our first heist was SUCCESSFUL and damn if it wasn’t a doozy ! you’re all absolute champs for sticking with me throughout that wild ride, and i had so much fun writing it all out. i love you all !!

the group is due for a fantastic night out in vegas; after all, they didn’t only score millions’ worth of jackpots. they also stole a banksy painting right out from under the owner’s nose, and no one got caught. mischa even got a call from candy, and they’re making arrangements to go out on a date sometime soon ! victories all around. however, despite the revelry and celebration, the note that jace collected in the penthouse office bears a sobering reminder: they aren’t alone.

took you long enough. if you need some tips, feel free to ask us. perhaps we’ll simply give you a demonstration next time. we certainly enjoyed watching you all work today — better be more careful who you talk to about your targets next time. ciao !

no one is sure where the note came from, but one thing’s for certain; someone is toying with them. when they all huddle around to crack the safe, two things greet them as the door swings open — a plastic tiara settled on a luxurious velvet stand, and another note.

let’s set the scene.

be it via planes, trains, or automobiles, the thieves roll in like the nightfall, appearing at HQ as if they’ve never left. some of them haven’t left, and all they need do is slip out from their bedrooms to join the rest. others come in from all sorts of locales, settling back into their favorite chair with a smile as they greet their co-conspirators. some — fine, just marty — are still green, glancing around for cues from the others as they gather round.

it’s time to plan a heist.
