So today I thought I'd give this tumblr a try. The funny thing was, it wasn't that I was curious about how it worked, or wanted to be apart of it like everyone else, it was because I wanted to say something, and there be some hope that it would find it's way to you.
It's been five years, and I can't seem to forget you. There is some lame ass qoute about how time heals everything, which I found for the most part to be true. But to every rule there is an exception, and you seem to be it.
Now please don't get me wrong, I'm not some love sick crazy cat woman pining over some almost lover. Let's face it, the closest we ever came to lovers was, well never. There just seems to be something about you that sticks with me. Something that no matter what I do I can't shake. It's rather irratating.
All I want is to be safe in my own thoughts and not suddenly have you appear. The worst part is, they are never thoughts of you at our worst. Never thoughts of you grown and standing taller then me. They are always of us young and equal. Despite everything, I only remember you laughing, or glancing over at me when you thought I wasn't looking. I even remember how nice you once were, to a new girl who had nothing. Even though I should hate you, I don't. And that makes it a million times harder.
My goal from this whole experiment is to tell you this, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for becoming crazy. For pushing too hard, too fast, and all at once. I want to own up to all the things I did wrong. I want to tell you, you were right. I blamed my friends, and yours, and everyone else, but it was really just me the whole time. If I could go back and tell my fifteen year old self to cool it, I would. Because from what I do remember of you is how nice you were, and how you made me laugh. I'm sorry that I alowed myself to get so carried away. I'm sorry that I took all my crazy out on the first guy who ever showed a little bit of intrest.
Do I really want to forget you? No, no I don't. You made me stronger in a weird way. You were the first person to teach me to own up to my own problems. And yes I have them, but who doesn't?
I hope that you are out there living your life and loving every minute of it. I hope that you have found someone who makes you so completely happy. And I hope that one day, if we ever meet again, you can find it in your heart to give this foolish girl a second chance to be your friend.
