I'm super happy I stumbled upon your tumblr! I'm also a gerontology student, currently wrapping up my bachelor's degree and starting master's at the university of Jyväskylä in Finland. So nice to hear more experinces from the field from other countries. I'm currently working as a part time research assistant in a project here. Looking forward to your future posts!
That’s awesome!  I graduated with my master’s degree last year and have since been working on my PhD in cognitive neuroscience, where I’m combining my background in gerontology with older adult cognition research.  I have about another three years left of this program, and then I’m not sure where I’ll go from there.  Probably either teaching at a university level or doing advocacy work for older adults or both.  We’ll see!  Hopefully I can start posting more on this side-blog.  Best of luck to you and your studies!  :)
