Talk about a rough night. I was finally able to fall asleep around 3am and woke up at 9. Finally made it out of the house after an apology from my uncle. "Sorry I threatened to stab scissors down your throat, I'm irritated". Incredible. I get that detoxing is hard, but he should have stayed clean in the first place. The last thing my mother and I need to worry about is weather or not my uncle might fall off the wagon and decide he's tired of the sound of us breathing.
But i'm going to do my best and ignore the dumpster fire he is, keep an eye out, and try and focus on my small business. There's a market coming up in July, and I have a whole new booth layout and theme I'm excited for. I've decided to keep my booth more poetry based, since I feel that my art kind of clashes with the Curiosity Cabinet theme... but I dont know. A lot of people like art. Last time I vended, my mystery bags sold more than anything. If I just make poetry mystery bags with some art and a sticker thrown in, they might sell more than if I sell them alone... But one of my main items will be a poem in a bottle, and that's kind of a mystery too. Should I let people see the poem before they purchase? I could also gamify it and do a sort of dice roll thing and let people purchase the poem number the dice lands on.....?
I'll keep brainstorming. I have about two weeks to have it all done 😅
