Natasha didn't think things were ever going to go back to normal, or however normal their lives ever were. Half the planet was gone -- half the universe, rather and that left a mark and she tried to make the most of it even if it meant that she didn't leave the compound much unless she had to. She wanted to be around just in case something or someone showed up and needed help.
So behind her desk she sat with a peanut butter and honey sandwich gripped in her hands as she chewed the bite she had taken. There was a lot on her mind given the fact that she was alone with her thoughts more often than not. "So Steve." she said, still chewing the sandwich. Once she swallowed, she turned her chair so she could look at him. "I have a wonder." her feet shifted on her desk as she tried to think about how to word what was on her mind.
"You remember that mission we had on the Lemurian Star? And then after at the hospital" She couldn't forget it, it was the last time she felt the least bit guilty about what she was doing which didn't happen often. Natasha had done some pretty shitty things in her life but guilt was generally something that never bothered her. "When you got all grr at me." her lip curled in a feigned growl. "You ever think about that? Because I do. Where did that come from? I've always wanted to know."

Hello dahlings. I know I haven't been around a lot lately to which I apologize SO MUCH HOMG but I am going to try and actively be more on this blog (especially because of the clusterfuck over in TW).
