Stiles is now the resident of a HUGE NEW C&C CAGE. It's 2x3 cubes, which is a step down from the usual 2x4, but it worked out PERFECTLY because I had just the right amount of connectors and panels to have it raised off the ground and have a solid half-lid with a 2/3 swivel lid. Even though it's only 2x3 cubes, it's still at least twice the size of the cage I had her in before that we used for the move. i also ordered her a carolina storm bucket wheel that should arrive when i get back, and then she'll be the happiest, most spoiled hedgie east of lake champlain. she's moving up in life!!

i really want to build stiles a new cage before i leave on thursday that will be bigger and stuff but i know that it's best to keep a smaller cage so i can keep her warmer, at least for the winter. but it's really frustrating because i want her to have a lot of room to run around and play but it's unfortunately just not something i can afford to do right now since i don't have a job either way until i get my background check completed in a week. ugh.

listening to stiles shuffle around in the dark is one of the joys of my life

stiles is literally the pissiest of hogs like i just try to give her some nice scritchies which i know for a fact she loves but nooooo she just keeps on hopping around like "nope nope don't touch me nope" until i put her favorite blankie near her and she crawled under it because apparently blankie means napnap time she ain't got no time for mommy no-siree

sitting around on tumblr with the hedgie in her playpen, the gecko freshly fed, and the sa2b chao garden on in the background. i have a complex.
