   it has been the quietest of days at the aquarium, & while Avalon is APPRECIATIVE of the silence that such days give to her,  she is at the same time ill at ease -- most of her coworkers can LEAVE the building, whereas she is confined to the spaces offered to her.

         which is why the sudden appearance of a stranger in front of the faux estuary is enough to shake the mermaid from her reverie,  face peeling up into pearly whites of a smile.

  fuchsia legs kick  OUTWARDS on instinct as tiny frame finds itself suspended MID-AIR, wrapped within the confines of the other’s arms.  aside from the squeak that manages to dislodge itself from the goddess’ throat, she is relatively CALM about the situation, hands firmly gripping onto Tadashi’s shoulders as she assesses the situation.

       puffed lips, stained dark with lipstick, pucker briefly in their check over before peeling back to reveal PEARLY whites,  one of the few pieces of her body that aren’t pink.

          “ – i’m wearing rainboots you know, “ she giggles, the sound light & airy on the breeze as she kicks her feet, yellow & white polka dotted boots clicking together on emphasis. “ and besides, now that you’re holding me, you can’t hold up your own umbrella ! ‘ another peal of laughter, before fingers reach for said instrument, holding it up & over the pair of them.
