i know there’s theological discourse about reviving hebrew, a historically liturgical/literary language into a spoken one, so this is just one man’s opinion, but:

hebraic revival was a rebirth, yes, but it was also a new becoming. regardless of your belief in Divinity, to speak the language of Gdly praise is fascinating and beautiful. if biblical hebrew is poetry, modern hebrew is its child in prose.
