When traveling was a part of EVERYTHING that one did, it made sense to end up staying in places with different upkeeps. Some places were luxurious and the bedspreads were made out of fine linens, and some places smelled like all the other people that had been in them before. That was why, Yennefer tried her best to stay in nice places, but in the off chance that simply was not doable, at least she could be near places with good cooks.
The smell of fresh bread, or sweets, at least made Yennefer feel better about staying in places that smelled bad. She knew she would at least be being fed nice things, and while it wouldnāt change her ATTITUDE, it helped her be in a better frame of mind. Today, at least she could smell fresh bread, and while her stomach rumbled, she tried not to appear too hungry.
