“Oh Love Dear! Look at this lovely new outfit my little kaiser Onyx bought for me? Isn't it just lovely!” The queen switched her hair back and forth as she was splayed out on her throne, “I like to call it my Hearts Warming Skin, after those silly outfits from that game Sixth likes to play. What was it called?”

"Kort Fight mam,” Love said visibly cringing, “I don’t know if it would be proper to be seen by the hive representatives like that.”

“Oh I know, we would have to be matching, that’s why I ordered one for You and L3!” the High Queen said cheerfully.

“L-L3?” Love’s face turned pale at the mention of the name.

“Yes, oh you and I used to wear outfits like this all the time. We used to have so much fun. I thought L3 might enjoy it as well!”

“Mam you haven't seen L3 in years, are you sure shes still even alive down there?”

The cheer slowly drained from the Queen’s voice, “I’m sure, I’ve been visiting her about once a week now...”

“Without Me?! You-” the lesser changeling’s voice dropped to a whisper, “you know procedure, its far too dangerous.”

“I know but I get l lonely sometimes and with you out on missions and Onyx training echo, I need the company.”

At the mention of the missions Love was brought back to the purpose of her visit and she perked back up, “Well violations of our code aside, I needed to talk to you about a mission you went on a few years back, before I took over the position of Bounty Hunter.”

“Oh yeah, I used to love that job, you know before taking over the Allfather hive and starting and empire.”

“Well yes, but this last mission, to a shop called MareOr-MareOr? It apparently was never completed. As far as the client is concerned you are still active in the field.” Love stalked looked up the Queen, glad to see her snap out of her reminiscing, “This is a problem considering we always finish our missions.”
