• Vanya 🎣

Dating Vanya would be like dating your best friend.

He’s a very calm person who takes it slow and lets you take the first step. He’s good with doing things your way. But he will sometimes test the waters to see how you’ll react.

As he grabs your hand when the two of you are making your way to a good fishing spot and relinquishes in the way your cheeks gain a slight color.

You’re so adorable, he wants to put you in his pocket.

He might have a soft spot for you, but he’ll also tease you to no end. Prodding you here and there, hoping to catch another sight of your red plump cheeks. And the way you squirm from the attention doesn’t help. It’s really cute and endearing.

After some time, you learn to tease him back, to give him a taste of his own medicine. But he’s cheeky. And he’s so dramatic when you do it, he looks like a theater kid.

The only time he’s not cheeky is when he doesn’t catch any fish. Looking at his fishing rod with a big pout. To lighten his mood, you crack a joke

Oh, girl now you’ve done it.

He takes that as an invitation to tell his own jokes. Which aren’t very funny.

But he’s so cute, you can’t help but laugh with him.

• Blanc 🌻

The slowest slow burn to ever slow burn.

But it’s ok, because you’re in it for the long ride. And when you two start dating, it’s totally worth it.

He gives you constant cuteness aggression and you have to calm down before you scare him away.

He’s trying his best. Doing little romantic gestures, and letting you hold his hand. But his face still erupts in various shades of red.

You reassure him you’re okay with taking things slow and he doesn’t need to rush himself. Which makes him feel guilty.

So, he tries to ask the rest of the town folk for advice. Obviously not before stuttering all over his predicament. Feeling shy about telling others, even if it’s his friends, about your guy’s relationship.

And although everyone has something to say, none of it helps him the way he hoped.

When you get word that he asked around for advice how to act with you, your heart leaps from its spot. And you attack your lovely boyfriend in kisses. Making his brain malfunction.

• Annie 🍭

Yapper and listener duo. That’s what you two are known as.

Your time together consists of relaxing together as she talks about something while you listen, enjoying her pretty voice and cool stories.

Others might describe her as “too much”. But to you, she’s just right. You fit each other like two puzzle pieces. Completing one another.

You’re her safe place. Her home. The one who truly understands her.

She also knows every time you had too much socializing for the day. When she notices your social battery is draining, she’ll excuse the two of you from the rest of your friends. Taking you away so you can rest.

Your time together feels like an adventure. And she’s a good partner, always making you feel like you’re walking on clouds.

Often describing your relationship like cotton candy. So sweet and fluffy.

• Naniwa 🪲

You and Naniwa are a very chill couple. One of those who look like they came out of a fairy tale. Never getting into fights and such.

You know that’s due to you guys talking so much to one another. You’ve been very open to each other even before dating.

So, communication comes easily to you two. If there’s anything needing to be fixed or discussed, you quickly do it. Not liking to prolong it.

You are like two peas in a pod. It’s lovely actually.

Although being “chill” doesn’t mean you love each other like other couples. You just keep it more in between the two of you.

Because if others took a look into your guys’ heads, all they would see is thoughts of each other. You live rent free in each other’s heads.

• Ka ching 🎨

Ka ching actually took offense to the rest of the residents. Who thought you two were “good friends”. She couldn’t take it anymore.

Unfortunately for her, you teased her a lot with this. Asking her if she didn’t consider you a good friend. For once, she didn’t tease you back. She just looked at you blankly saying you two were partners.

ROMANTIC partners.

You calmly explain to her that you two don’t do a lot of PDA in the presence of others. So, it’s a normal assumption. She still doesn’t like it. And is determined to change that.

Which proves to be harder than she thought.

She’s not a very closed off person. Or shy. But she still likes to keep certain things between you two, more private.

She likes sharing with you certain romantic moments. Only with you.

So, with time she learns to accept the misconception. Not bothered by it as long as she has you by her side, being silly and all lovey dovey.

And it’s not long before everyone in Heartopia actually learns that you two are dating, courtesy of you going around and telling everyone.

• Atara ✨

Atara makes you feel like a princess. Between romantic gestures like giving you flowers before a date, or writing you beautiful heartfelt letters, and taking care of you.

You joke that he must have come off from one of those romantic books you like so much. And because he doesn’t do anything halfway, he uses lines he has read in the books you like, on you.

Making you incredibly flustered.  

He’ll open the car door for you. Tie your shoes. You name it. You’re his to spoil and he certainly doesn’t hold back.

He doesn’t want you to lift a finger. Unless you want to. Then he’ll compromise.

He’ll plan all the dates and pay for everything, if you guys go to a fancy place. Not forgetting to give you an outfit he’ll know you’ll look stunning in. So, it’s normal for you to find a package delivered to your door. All wrapped up so beautifully, paired up with a card from him.

It happened a little bit fast.

After you came to the conclusion that you needed a change of scenery from the bustling streets of the city, you moved to a faraway town. Hoping to ease your mind and soul.

And in a way, Heartopia was exactly what you needed.

As you felt yourself relax not long after you settled into the cozy town.

There was a small issue though.

Before you truly had a chance to accommodate yourself, you felt your world being shaken up.

As the people living in Heartopia were total catches.

• Vanya 🎣

Vanya was one of the first people you met after moving and you quickly grew fond of him.

He was really nice and tried to help you feel welcome by cracking a few jokes.

He was also your first mentor in this little town. Giving you a hand and making sure you felt you had a purpose in Heartopia. Making you feel like you belonged in their community by giving you tasks.

He was gentle in the way he taught you. And coaxed you out of your shell.

Anytime you felt like you progressed with your fishing, you went looking for him. To update him and see if he had anything else to teach you.

It wasn’t long before you developed certain feelings for him.

You had already liked him from the very first moment you met him. As you thought he was really pretty and handsome. The height difference between the two of you tugging at your heart strings.

And now, you look forward to see him every day…

• Blanc🌻

Blanc is a very shy man. Stumbling all over his words and keeping more to himself.

Your exact type in a man. In a world of cocky men and red flags, he was a breath of fresh air.

His soft features reminding you of a teddy bear.

It became your mission to get him to open up to you without trespassing his boundaries. Curious to see what reactions he would give you. Would he blush if you complimented him? What would his laugh sound like if you cracked a good joke?

But before that, you let him get used to the idea of you being around. You had just moved here after all. And he seemed like the kind of person to flee at the smallest commotion.

So, you focused on bettering your gardening after Blanc taught you some things.

You just didn’t account for him to be so flustered with your progress and coming up to him to get more tips.

As he went to see your little garden and gushed about how well maintained it looked, you just knew you had to make him yours.

• Annie 🍭

Annie was the first person you met in the town.

She was a small ball of sunshine, vibrating with energy. And although you felt her drain yours by simply talking your ears off, you quickly took a liking to her.

Thinking of how endearing she looked as she talked and talked, never running out of “fuel”. And she was so nice too! Always calling you to make sure you were doing okay.

To check how you were liking the little town.

Not knowing you were liking it more due to her.

She was Atara’s right hand, and yet, she at times felt more like your own right hand. As she hyped you left and right.

But she was kind to everyone. Helping whoever needed it at all times.

Trait of hers that made you like her even more.

With your growing feelings for the sweet girl, you made sure to always stop by and talk to her whenever you could.

• Naniwa 🪲

At first you thought he would be a kind of careless guy. A little bit aloof. Imagine your surprise when you find out he’s actually a bit shy.

He’s not like Blanc in that aspect, but he’s quieter than you thought.

Taking strolls in the wild while catching bugs, or simply admiring nature.

And when you join him on his walks, the two of you talk about a little bit of everything. Getting to know one another. He talks about bugs, feeling like a walking encyclopedia, to stories about Heartopia and his experiences from when he first moved here.

And you tell him about your own story. To how you’re settling in and how different it is from the city you were living in.

He’s an attentive listener. Offering little comments here and there, and asking you questions.

It’s no surprise when you start to develop feelings for him, the more you two spend time together.

• Ka ching 🎨

It took you some time before you finally met Ka ching.

But a friendship blossomed quite fast between you two. Full of encouragement and teasing. As she praised your paintings over and over. While you just gave her a deadpan look. Were you two seeing the same painting? It looked awful.

She had no shortage of kind words for you and your atrocious “art”. Saying with practice it would become better.

And you start lightly teasing her, telling her she might need better glasses. Because your painting is a lost cause and yet she keeps praising it.

You winced at your comment, afraid you passed a line. You had met just a few days ago.

So, you’re relieved when she has a positive reaction. Chuckling at you and teasing you back. And that becomes your guy’s dynamic. Making the other residents amazed by your guys' quick friendship.

• Atara ✨

You’re not proud to say you were actually a bit intimidated by him at first.

He seemed like one of those rich snobs you’ve seen before and you winced back waiting for mean words and jabs.

You lost all words when you saw how nice he really was.

 He was so pretty and well dressed. And looked rich? So why wasn’t he acting like a snob?

At your rain of thought, you recoiled back. Look at you being so presumptuous. You were sort of ashamed. So, you casted all of those things aside.

And he couldn’t be farther from those stereotypes you initially thought.

He didn’t check on you as often as Annie did, giving you space to figure things out, but he never forgot about you. Inviting you to little outings the residents sometimes organized. Wanting you to feel a part of their community.

The way he never forgot to include you while also giving you space, mindful of your own comfort, was what made you start to develop certain feelings for him.

You just now had to gain the courage to ask him out.
