Books, Books, Books (Tori/Iris)
Reading and writing could take you to places you never imagined. It’s what kept her going during the times she lived with her caretakers. Without it, Iris wasn’t sure where her life would be like. Perhaps, and this was her greatest fear, she would have remained with her caretakers. Something like that should never happen, in this reality or the next. Written words took her out of her previous home and shown her around the world.
What better way to appreciate the world than exploring it for herself?
She wasn’t sure what led her to Kardia, but she was grateful for the journey. The library surrounded her with books. She inhaled the smell of them, pressing her cheek against delicate spines. It’s been so long since she’s been within a library. Traveling between Oak Tree Town and the city left her with little time to step into one or even a bookstore.
“Oh, how I’ve missed this,” iris murmurred to herself, pulling a book on Runey Research off the shelf.
