It is common knowledge that amongst the most noble and ancient house of black, it is family tradition that when in a crisis it pays to be as far away from the incident as possible, or to make the incident about oneself. Druella Black, very much enjoyed making any incident about her, even if she was countries away from it. Two nights ago when Andromeda, Bellatrix and Narcissa had been eyewitnesses to their friends and colleagues being clawed by a werewolf, Druella had been in Lyon at her family home, sipping tea happily with their father by her side. Today, she was once again drinking tea, petting her daughter's heads intermittently, clutching her pearls for dear life telling and them how horrible it all was. Several times that day already she had envisioned the victims being her children, '"imagine had it gotten your face narcissa, that poor andressa, where did it get her?" "bellatrix black where were you, not defending your sisters?"' "and andromeda what were you thinking, what if had turned on you? what would you have done then, no husband wants a wife who eats raw steak!" Dutifully the girls had sat quietly, their father as normal, occasionally rolling his eyes whilst flicking through the paper.
Sipping her tea quietly, Andromeda took a moment to change the conversation slightly, turning to her left to speak with her elder sister whilst Druella, Cygnus and Narcissa were engaged in conversation. "How are you feeling about it all?" She asked, setting her tea cup and saucer down on the table. "Thankful to still have your head still attached to your shoulders?" She asked with a slight grin. She knew it was a wicked joke to make, but Bellatrix understood her well enough to know the joke was aimed at the performance they'd just bared witness too, rather than the poor people laid up in the hospital. "Imagine what she would have done if one us had been hurt... unless it wasn't on the face of course."
