Feed the beast, the rage, but keep it hungry, famished, wishing it had a release, there is none, it's been vanquished, at least prolonged as it hides within the shadow of doubt Oh yes the shadow, a companion to accompany me in the worst of scenarios. darkness brimming, I miss my old friend, I miss her seculant kiss on my bronze skin and how it darkens after the release, the nibble as carnivorous as a dragon in fables, she sweeps me off my feet in a dazzling dress of obsidian, hand out reached she touches my face and draws me in to receive her pucker, I kiss her, only to realize I'm in love...again another time, another heartbreak another failure, another image of her with filth claiming love, claiming passion, in actuality it's a cover for mourning, an eternal sadness, an immortal bearing of knowing my availability is placed on hold, for a moment, for an eternity? Only the lords may know, and only a shadow can be brought onto a man of the light, a man with a soul of peace and a heart for war, a rage, a passion, a beast...keep it hungry...keep it famished...don't let it be released, there is none, it's been vanquished, at least prolonged once again as it hides in the shadow away from the shadow.
