"AH— ERIC YOU'RE HEAVY GET OFF ME!"

you struggled as eric got you in almost a wrestling lock in attempts to bear hug you. his arms were tightly secured around you with his head on your shoulder. the smell of him met your nose that soothed your body, relaxing under his arms.

both of you stayed in that position for a bit, mindlessly watching the chitters and chatters drom the tv screen. the noise faded as your mind started to swirl with thoughts.

you've been with eric for a good amount of time, yet the two of you have only kissed once. normally, these thoughts wouldn't board your train of thoughts, at least not far enough to become a concern.

however, lately it has been the only thing in tour mind. the insecurities within grew without notice. you became worried.

"hey eric, love?" you built some courage to break from the infinite loop your mind circled. his hum indicated you that you now had his almost, if not full, attention. you continued.

"do... do you prefer hugs or kisses?" instead of a direct questiom you tried beating around the bush.

"hmm. i like hugs more! that way, i can hear your heartbeart," his smile shone through. his words and glittering smile melted away your worries that took up your head for weeks.

distracted by your surge of relief, eric repositioned himself so that his head now reated on top of your chest, exactly where your heart laid.

his ear pressed firmly against your chest, his eyes fluttered closed to concentrate on listening to the steady beats of your heartbeat.

the new feeling was something you didn't reject but welcome with open arms. it felt safe and you felt eric's deep love for you.

something more intimate than a passionate kiss. a hug to listen to the pits and pats of the heart, feeling your own sync up.

what is more intimate than that?

"where are you taking me?" you looked at younghoon's side profile as he drove through the streets. his hair was slightly swept back and the dim lights made his face glow.

oh how much you loved him.

he gave you a tilted smile, eyes concetrated on the road ahead of him.

"you'll see when we get there."

upon arriving at a small park on the outskirts of the city, younghoon laid out a blanket on the grass and led you towards it.

the doors to his cars were still open with music quietly playing. the warm lights from the car and the slow music gave the chilly night a comfortable ambiance.

"i wanted to see the stars with you!" he whispered yelled excitedly once the two of you settled on the blanket.

his fingers intertwined with yours, circling against your skin. the soothing feeling tingled up your spine yet it was a sensation you continued to seek as you slightly tightened your grip around his hand.

after a long moment of silence, you exhaled and noticed the glittering stars that were painted across the dark sky. they were so much more visible outside the city.

"the stars are beautiful," you whispered, your free hand reaching up with a desire to run your hands through them.

younghoon softly hummed in response. your head turned towards him only to see his eyes fixated on you. they were sparkling so brightly and so clearly through the darkness of the night.

your hand lowered from the sky and rested on his cheek as your thumb gently caressed his cheekbone.

"you have stars in your eyes," you thought out loud.

his eyes crinkled into cresent moons while he placed his on top of yours resting on his cheek.

"it's because you're in them, my beloved star."

"c'mere," sunwoo gestured towards you. your head perked up from your phone at the sound of his voice calling for you. he stood by the exit of his room and his back leaned against the door frame.

you tilted your head sideways in slight confusion, yet you still slid off the couch and slightly jogged to him, giving your last step a little hop.

sunwoo's lips slightly curved upwards at the gesture and patted your head. you leaned towards the warmth from his hand, allowing the soothing sensation spread till your fingertips.

your half-lidded eyes shot open when you felt a sudden hot feeling at the center of your forehead. his peck left a lingering tingle on your skin. that sensation harmonously synchronized with your fast heartbeat was a combination that left you out of breath.

"hey what was that for!" you exclaimed, adding a slight tone.

"oh, are you mad that i didn't kiss you on the lips?" he knew how to push your buttons.

before you could protest, sunwoo closed the gap between the two of you and his lips grazed yours slightly, teasing your patience a little.

you pulled him by the collar of his shirt slightly frustratedly, properly connecting your lips at last. you felt him relax after the short initial shock, moving along the rhythm of your lips.

when you part, you carressed his cheek and looked him in the eye.

"kim sunwoo, if you're going to kiss me then kiss me properly."
