It was a soft rebuke, meant in jest though the nature of the situation remained unchanged. Thor had expected some resistance to his decision to leave of course, but it had taken him by surprise just what the strength of the resistance comprised of. This last-ditch effort, he had to admit, was painfully endearing. It was flattering to say the least, to know that his presence was to be missed. He truly had become part of this bizarre little family and, considering the status of his own on Asgard, it provided him a strength and comfort he sorely needed.

@heartfractured I WILL HIT YOU with a somewhat less popular opinion, though first of all?? Agree because it's not a "trendy" thing and nor should it ever be; however my idea on gender is that it's a very fluid thing, and that some people identify very much as trans, or agender (if I'm using the right term) or anything other on the spectrum and don't necessarily want to undergo hormone therapy or operation to change their physical bodies I have met quite a few folk, living in San Francisco as I do, (big on LGBT rights and very outspoken on such matters) find that they are comfortable in their skin, and are fine with the clash of their physical body and gender; that is to say that they believe and consider personally that gender and the physical sex, and are content living their identities without bodily alteration.As someone who knows a lot of folks who DO have dysphoria, and know personally about it, dysphoria is also a very legit thing and natural as well; it's just that some people approach gender and/or physical sex differently, due to personal views or otherwise. But as for trans being "trendy"? I'm like. nah. Fuck outta here with that shit if this is a trend thing for you, that's disrespectful and just?? why.a
Trans people. Actual trans people, are born in bodies that their brains are not equipped to handle, an ftm brains like ‘tf am I supposed to do with this vigina bullshit? I didn’t sign up for this?’ and mtf brains are like ‘dis dick don’t belong here.’ And it is up to the person whether or not they want to make the choice to alter their body to fit their brain dysphoria is a staple of being trans. You just don’t feel like you have the correct body parts. It feels wrong. and the people that are comfortable in their skin might very well be gender fluid or a gender or whatever else but they’re not trans.
