i absolutely get it though. when i was a kid and i lost my baby fat, my mom would tell me how cute and pretty i was, only when i was so skinny. when i started gaining normal weight again, the compliments stopped. i would starve myself, skip meals and tell myself i didn’t need to eat that much that day, i would weigh myself daily to try and keep myself under a hundred pounds, all so i would continue getting attention from her that she basically never gave me growing up

it got to a point where i was lucky to stomach eating anything that day. it was such hell i just gave up and worked on getting my eating habits somewhat normal again. even now, like 9 years later, i still have an eating disorder from it, and a whoooole lotta self esteem issues.

naturally skinny people just dont understand what kind of shit us fat people go through. the stares, the dehumanization, the oversexualization from some, being made fun of and having insults thrown at us simply because we’re fat. even from our own friends and family. dont even get me started on trying to find cute clothes that fit us.

being fat is such a normal thing, some people are just going to be fat because thats how our bodies are built. that doesn’t make it our fault, that doesn’t make it gross, its just how we are. it doesn’t mean we somehow don’t deserve to be treated like fucking humans.
