Not sure about what to eat at uni?
Look no further. The food freeks are here! We've trekked up and down the 106 steps (yes, I counted) to find you the healthiest (not to mention the YUMMIEST) options out there just for you! Trust us, this was much harder than it seems. We ended up with sore feet, growling tummies and a very hard decision about what to eat for lunch!
So lets start at the top of the uni and move our way down, shall we?
First up, THE TROPICAL GREEN!
Located in the Mathews Pavilion, THE TROPICAL GREEN offers a wide selection of Vietnamese cuisine from noodle soups to rice dishes to Vietnamese bread rolls!
Made fresh and daily, the rice paper rolls are an excellent healthy choice option. Each roll contains at least 14 different varieties of herbs and flavors and there are at least 3 different rolls to choose from:
Summer rolls (Prawn and chicken)
The vermicelli dishes also deserves a healthy plus mentioning. Packed with a variety of herbs (mint, coriander, parsley) and vegies (lettuce, carrots, beans), these dishes will satisfy your cravings, leaving you hungry for more.... but don't forget: always eat in moderation!
