Perspective and the Definition of Perfect
I was 25 when I realized nothing is or ever will be 'perfect'. I had aged about another minute when I knew I was okay with it.

Loving the Riddle
every atom in existence has a purpose
every soul has a goal
it goes along with the tiny piece of knowledge
bestowed upon the pilot as they left the greater consciousness.
the dead leaves under feet know more about what it means to be a leaf than you or i
we can learn anything, our only limit is time.
we can scrutinize and empathize
speculate and meditate
some can even astral project into far away plains and out to unseen places like in outer freakin’ space!
i’m not a blade of grass, but I know what it means to be stepped on.
and appreciate the perseverance to bend back and grow on.
it makes me wonder what the trees know
or the mushrooms growing on them or the microbial bacteria found in rain drops now on my face or the dog across the street or why he’s staring at me.
the plant i’m about to smoke once had thoughts and feelings. Will they affect my own as i inhale their old bodies?
we can learn anything, but we cannot know everything; and therefore cannot be fully conscious of our lives’ purpose.
but it’s arguably possible the crows might know.
The Beauty in Naivety
It's incredibly trusting. In a way, fearless. Intuitive. Sometimes to the point of being impulsive. The test to humanity as a whole is not to take advantage of such an attribute. Folks may be naive but stepping on them for it is arrogant, ignorant and selfish. Perhaps the lesson to be learned when naivety is a factor is acknowledging that more is to be gained for a society as a whole when its members spread the wealth and teach one another with compassion and patience when some know more than others.
