Ruri may seem kind, and all together, or least tries to seem that way, more for the kids of course. Since she’s got a big heart and such. But there are nights where she is either crying herself to sleep, or being unable to sleep at all, or even just an hour or two.

Not to mention some nights may involve nightmares of losing her brother, Kaito and Yuto. Or any of the kids in her care. The whole events of the invasion have just really hurt her, and she wishes things would be back to how they were before.

Ruri tries, she really tries to be cool and calm, that open person when it comes to keeping kids calm during the war/invasion. But it’s hard to keep up that persona sometimes. Just seeing her home, everything that has happened to it. It’s too much even for her sometimes. Sometimes she takes a day or two of the week, when she is alone, she proceeds to cry her eyes out.

She knows if she bottles up her feelings, that it’ll eventually explode and come crashing down when the push becomes too hard to keep on top of. Sure, she has her brother, she has Yuto, she has Kaito, among other strong people within the camps. But it’s still hard. She just wishes things would go back to what they were before, instead of this giant gear machines, causing nothing but chaos and destruction.
