And then when Dark inevitably comes on screen
Dark: Ever the persistent little maze rat, aren't you? You either brute forced your way here, or you combed the archives of discord itself for a solution that would lead you back to me once more. You're practically doing this on purpose, but what do you stand to gain from it all?

I can hear the song in my head, we so are Penelope to him (yes Dark did get lost in sea since it's been years since we've seen a canonical ORIGINAL cameo from him. I still hate that they just reused his line from AHWM but alas)
Also you really got Dark's speech patterns down in situations when we find him somewhere xddd I think he'd also be lying down in some convoluted position

Egotober Day 26 - Cobweb
Wilford sighed as heard a shriek come from the living room. Another fight, most likely. As he left his room and walked down the stairs, the voices became more audible.
"Kill it, for God's sake!"
"Hell no! I'm not going anywhere near that thing!"
"KILL IT, PLEASE! It moved closer to me!"
"What the hell is going on?!" Wilford yelled as he reached the kitchen. After a moment, he started to laugh at the scene. There was a large spider on the floor. Murdock was on the table, Yancy had climbed onto the counter, and the Engineer was trying to herd the creature into a cup with a ruler. As he poked it, the spider began to crawl up the ruler. Engie screamed, dropping it immediately. When the three realized Wilford was watching them, they all turned varying shades of red.
"Wilford, please, get it outta here!" Murdock begged. The pink-haired man reached down, scooping the spider into his hand. Yancy gagged, preferring to go back to prison than touch a spider of that size.
"Man, if you three are this scared of spiders, Halloween is going to be a nightmare!" Wilford mocked.
"Oh, zip it, Wil! I hate spiders," the Engineer retorted. Yancy clambered off the counter, and Murdock slid off the table, shuddering as he left the kitchen. Wilford opened the front door, walking outside and putting the spider on a tree. It quickly scurried off, and Wilford could practically feel the relief from the three inside the house.

Artist Note: Been waitin' to post this on the 2nd Part anniversary since that's when Mack appears for the 1st time, was about to post it on April at first tho. Ngl, i was pretty impressed on how I do the BG. This drawing was suggested by @kusakichan15 over on my Twitter when I asked what should I draw for the ISWM Anniversary, I think I kinda made it abit off, but I tried my best. For the GIF, I took some inspiration from Evangelion Opening Vibes to make it tense.
