#he's just so..........

Saufa had no idea if it was or not. All he saw with a ghost-like imitation of vision was a swirling mass of destruction. The blindfold didn’t help– not like he had the organs in the first place. He wondered, briefly, if any sort of emotion that might have been better than shock would allow him to find the sight pretty. He couldn’t even find anger. Simply disbelief.

    “No, not really.”

He didn’t have much else to say. Who thought that a blind guy would have anything worth stealing? Was she desperate for bland food and rags?

    “It’s a good thing that there’s only a fifty percent chance of it being the second one,” he couldn’t hide the incredulous tone if he wanted to, “Because you’d have much better luck if you committed robbery and arson in town. Unlike here. Unlike my house that held all of my worldly possessions… which still... didn’t... equate to much.”
