Finally got a decent Internet service. So I finally got to play Dandy's World! (Before when I'd try to play my ping would spike into the thousands.) Had trouble adjusting to playing with the mouse and keyboard, since I mostly only play console games with controller.
Once I unlocked eggson, I was able to get past floor 3 (only playing solo rn), this is the furthest I've got so far.
The thing that gives Owen Grady actual, genuine charm with his misogynistic attitude is that it's not misogyny...it's just general misanthropy.
The man is not sexist towards Claire with his jocky attitude and his "yeah, whatever" tone--he does that to everyone. The guy hates people. Loves humanity, loves his buddies, but people? No. When he's off the clock, he's at home, fixing up his motorcycle all by himself. He's constantly rolling his eyes at everything corporate and knows people are going to hurt dinosaurs just as fast as dinosaurs hurt people.
Not that he's dispassionate, though. He does care about people! But only in the same way that he cares about animals. He doesn't want people to be hurt, he'll be encouraging, but that man is terrified to form anything like a "connection" with somebody.
