Crying He Xia is my favourite.

Now there’s a sentence I never thought I’d say. I think this is the first time I feel anything genuine for He Xia and it’s when Ping Ting tells him that he doesn’t know nor does he deserve to know love.

Overall, G&I hasn’t really captured me that much; it’s amusing at most times but frustrating as heck sometimes. However, it is getting intriguing - a fired up and hell-bringing Chu Be Jie and Ping Ting finally giving it to He Xia is an exciting combination! I’m terribly interested in how Yao Tian is going to respond to He Xia bringing Ping Ting to Bai Lan though. I can smell the drama brewing!

This is probably the ancient China version of the male leads grabbing the female lead’s arm but with swords and watch out for her arm, don’t chop it off, gosh darn it! And I liked it, I was so close to clapping my hands, entertainment! because -
