He’s quiet for a little while, only speaking after glancing over at her with a raised brow.  “That’s stupid.”  He sounded… harsher than intended. Only once he realizes this do his features soften– as do his words. He didn’t mean to sound so… bland and careless (he DID care… that’s why he said something. He hated seeing his mistakes mirrored in others…)   “ See, I’m not the smartest… but I do know I gotta THINK before I do things. Don’t matter that I’m big– even if I were small, that kinda’ thinking could get people killed.  It HAS gotten people killed… Good people.”          He gestures lazily to the side of his face, scars scattered around his jaw, cheek and neck. Faint reminders of memories of explosions and shrapnel littered across his skin.  “ –Almost got myself killed a few times. ”    He sighs, letting his hand fall to his side as he leans back. Enough with the lecture– he’s sure she didn’t care for it. ‘Wasn’t his intention anyway… just…–His voice quiets a little. It becomes… gentle. Gentler than expected from such a beast of a man perhaps.  “… just…y’know… be careful, alright..?  I bet there’s lots of people who’d hate to see you get hurt or somethin’.  If nothin’ else, stay safe for their sake.”
