So hard to pick 10 winners and I know I threw in a couple fun items but wasn't really working this event super hard--just enjoying myself and drinking some fabulous wines as a guest of @sommjournal 🍷2003 @tablascreek straight #syrah was my absolute one of the day. Sorry everyone else but that wine just floats my boat in so many ways year after year. 🍷@ledgevineyards home ranch SY kind of gets the nod in the fresh Paso category 🍷 @kalewines Stagecoach Vineyard Napa was the only Napa I tasted and it is just ridiculously stunning stuff 🍷 @sethkunin had just as stupidly good lineup of vintage offerings that have to get my endorsement for Vintage Santa Barbara of the day 🍷 that Saint Joseph was a bretty little piece of perfection and the "White Stones" was quite possibly my favorite Frenchie of the day but there were so many🍷@dirtyandrowdy Antle took it away for *other* California areas, although 🍷 @drpinot's Alder Springs barrel sample next door was a baby monster 🍷 Oh, and a @philippecambie stealth-selfie for an extra point. 🇫🇷🇺🇸🇿🇦🇳🇿 #hospicedurhone #hdr #hdr2018 #hospicedurhone2018 #wine #winegeek #winefestival #rhonerangers #rhone #pasorobles #wineblogger (at Hospice du Rhône)
