one of the overlooked ways to understand gates or hexagrams in human design is through the language of Chinese cosmology & the two trigrams that make up those gates

in human design, the gates (hexagrams) are made up of two trigrams, and those trigrams have names:

• earth is the most receptive and represents stomach, digestive system and reproductive organs

• heaven is the strongest and represents the face and central nervous system

• mountain limits and is stubborn and represents the hands and skeletal structure

• thunder arouses and moves and represents feet and the motor sensory

• wind penetrates and is gentle and represents the hips, waist and the anus

• fire radiates and clarifies and represents the eyes and cardiovascular system

• water is perilous and dangerous and represents the ears and urogenital system.

in avestan astrology (which i'm sill not very well versed in), these trigrams have been assigned planetary values:

so you can see that the names of the hexagrams or gates are very much based on the trigrams that make them up.

example:

childhood fame is weirdly common with people who have prominent 6th lines, especially on the Design side.

it’s like the body gets put on display before the person does. beauty, talent, athleticism, charisma, some kind of obvious gift that everyone notices before they’re even old enough to understand it themselves.

Lamine Yamal has his Design Mars/Uranus/Saturn (who respectively represent sports/genuis/career) in the 6th line.

Ariana Greenblatt could possibly have Design Mercury/Moon/Venus/Mars/Jupiter/Pluto in the 6th line, which all things considered, is a hell of a cocktail.

and then there’s Personality Jupiter and Saturn in the 6th line, which also seem suspiciously overrepresented among people who become publicly known at a young age.
